Most websites take two to six weeks from kick-off. A focused site is usually two to four; a larger CMS build with content collections is four to six. The single biggest factor is how quickly content and feedback come back — the build itself is rarely the bottleneck. ### What happens after launch? Every project includes thirty days of support to catch anything that surfaces in real use, plus training and documentation. After that you can carry on independently, or bring us in for specific work. There are no retainers and no obligation either way. ### Can we update the website ourselves? Yes. Anything that should change regularly — pages, news, case studies, menus, team, events — is set up in a CMS and you are trained on it before launch. If you would rather we handled updates, we can, but it is a choice rather than a requirement. ### How are additional changes charged? By the minute rather than the half-day and full-day blocks most agencies bill, so a five-minute text change costs five minutes. Anything substantial — new pages, new features — is quoted before it starts, so you approve a number rather than receive one. ### Will we own the website? Yes — the domain, the hosting account, the CMS and the content are all in your name. If you ever move on, everything goes with you. Nothing is held hostage to an ongoing fee. ### Can you help with SEO and advertising? Yes. Core technical SEO is part of every build. Beyond that we offer ongoing search work, Google and Meta advertising, and reporting that measures enquiries rather than vanity metrics. It is quoted separately so you can see what you are paying for. ### What does AI-ready mean? Practically: content structured so search engines and AI assistants can read, understand and cite it correctly; proper schema markup; and key information existing as text rather than inside images or PDFs. It also covers automation — connecting your site to the systems your business already runs on. ### Can you build automations? Yes, and it is often the highest-return work we do. Typical examples are automated enquiry routing and follow-up, CRM and email integration, quote generation, and internal tools that remove repetitive admin. We document everything we build so your team understands what runs and why. ### What platform will you build it on? Webflow, most often — it is fast, flexible and straightforward for a team to manage themselves, and we hold a Webflow Certified Partner accreditation. Where Shopify or WordPress genuinely suits the project better, we use those instead, and some builds are fully custom-coded where the requirements call for it.
